Naomi Bickley
Coach
Naomi worked in business and academia for 10 years, culminating in her appointment as Director of Systems Engineering Laboratories (SEL) and head of an international marketing incentive at Curtin University’s Electrical & Computer Engineering School. After completing her Masters in Clinical Psychology in 1996 and working in private hospitals, she embarked on a new career direction, marrying her management experience with clinical psychology.
She brings to her work behavioural change theory along with sound knowledge and experience working with personality types and their impact on work performance and interpersonal relationships. She regularly attends evidence-based coaching psychology symposia to ensure she keeps abreast of the latest developments. She has also been heavily committed to encouraging the development of coaching psychology as a profession and for a number of years was an active committee member on the APS National and WA Interest Groups in Coaching Psychology. She continues to be a member.
Over the past 6 years Naomi has incorporated the latest developments in positive psychology and neurobiology of change into her coaching practice and workshop facilitation. As part of her professional development she regularly participates in training summits and conferences to ensure she is kept abreast of these developments, and their relevance to optimising a person’s health, happiness and potential.
Naomi has extensive coaching experience working with senior executives in a diverse range of organisations and government departments. Consultations have been at all levels of the organisation, in particular with executive team members and senior managers.
Naomi is often complimented for her warm compassionate presence, for her ability to identify the root cause of a problem and supporting/ guiding a person to grow and flourish through adversity.
In her spare time Naomi enjoys practicing meditation and teaching mindfulness, maintaining health and fitness, travelling, spending time with family and friends and pottering in her garden.
