Rosemary Moore-Fiander
Coach
Rosemary has 15 years of international executive coaching; leadership, organisation development and change management experience in addition to holding senior management roles in blue chip and government/public sector organisations in the UK, Europe, Southern Africa, Australia and SE Asia.
She derives particular enjoyment from coaching women in senior positions; supporting experts to transition to the role of leader; and coaching executives moving into a new cultural environment. Her core skills are in challenging and supporting emerging and senior leaders to frame their “brand” and to align organisational, team and individual values, attitudes and behaviours to enhance performance and results.
After several years working as an HR and recruitment manager, Rosemary moved into consulting for a London based assessment and development consultancy. As director, she led her team through a strategic organisational change: repositioning their client base; extending the range of service offerings; and developing a significant thought leadership capacity.
She then moved to Hong Kong where she joined the HSBC senior team responsible for driving culture change for the bank across the Asia Pacific. Rosemary’s next role was joint head of PwC Consulting’s new Human Capital Solutions practice. Responsible for client relations and a team of OD/HR consultants, she quickly grew the practice and managed strategy development, OD and large change management projects for clients around the region.
Moving to Australia in 2003, Rosemary established a gourmet café, a main street retail outlet and an olive oil production and wholesaling business. She developed the businesses, including an online shopping presence, to employ 13 people. Each business has now been sold as a going concern.
Rosemary has now returned to her professional world and provides leadership, strategy development and coaching services. She has undertaken numerous individual and group coaching assignments, designed and facilitated a range of leadership workshops, and presented and coached on advanced executive leadership development programs in Australia, China and Singapore. In addition, she drew on her leadership and coaching expertise in her director/treasurer role on a NFP Arts board to develop the skills of both paid executives and volunteer staff. In 2014 she joined KPMG for 6 months to work directly with one of their clients on a significant strategic change management portfolio.
When not indulging her travel bug (most recently Cuba and Mexico), Rosemary and her Labrador, Oscar, are sometimes to be found walking at the beach or along the forest paths around Margaret River, where he snuffles and she photographs. Good conversation, a cheeky red wine, and great food are prerequisites for enjoying any additional down time with husband and friends.
